Siemens Information and Communication Networks asked Origin to develop a brand name for their latest suite of IP communication applications, which offers a full set of features to IP phones such as call forwarding, conferencing and call handling.

Origin developed the name ComScendo. Coined from ‘communications’ and ‘crescendo’, the name suggests reaching ‘the peak of communications technology’.
