Astellas approached Origin to develop a new brand identity for their urology compound, Flomax.
Origin developed the brand name Flomaxtra, a name derived from Flomax, as well as a strong and dynamic visual identity for the new brand. Both components tested well, reflecting the superior brand positioning of the fast and targeted effect of the new compound. The colour palette of the original Flomax was retained since it remains differentiated and has considerable brand equity.
Designs were applied across the brand variants and all global markets. Origin developed a set of brand guidelines to support implementation and to ensure global consistency.
