Alliance Pharmaceuticals asked Origin to develop a name and logo for their new brand of misoprostol for cervical ripening and the induction of labour.
Isprelor is a somewhat arbitrary coined brand name but has a fit-to-product feminine feel and may suggest ideas such as “inspire”, “express” or “reliability”. The name offers a high degree of category distinctiveness and is both easy to pronounce and recall.
The flowing lines of the Isprelor logomark represent both the mother and child and communicate the product’s ease of use and smooth application. This is supported by the blue/green colour palette which communicates the emotional characteristics of being friendly, gentle, soft, safe, reassuring and feminine.
