Syngenta Seed Treatment approached Origin to create a brand identity for their revolutionary nematicide seed treatment.
Avicta, loosely coined from ‘victory’ and ‘evict’, addresses end-user benefits of the product and suggests a strong solution to a serious problem.
A solid sans serif typeface reinforces the efficacy and simplicity of the product. The icon is incorporated as part of the wordmark and represents a nematode that is being stamped out by the Avicta wordmark. The blue sphere in the middle of the ‘C’ represents the seed that is promised a healthy start under the protection of Avicta.
Two taglines were also created to support the launch of this identity, ‘Seed Treatment Nematicide’ and ‘Think out of the box.’
