As a market driver of new material technology, Lafarge developed an ultra high strength fibre concrete for a wide range of applications. The material in pre-set state is both pourable and malleable allowing easier casting. It is very durable when it solidifies and unlike conventional concrete is not brittle, acting more like a non-corrosive metal.

The naming team at Origin was asked by Lafarge to develop a global trademark to communicate the benefits and uses of their new product. Having conducted our tried and tested creative methodology, the name Ductal was finally selected. This name incorporates both the flexibility of the compound and it’s ability to be used in diverse situations.
