Origin was asked by Lafarge to develop a brand name for a range of decorative concrete products. The range provides a high-performance concrete solution by offering texture options and vast colour selections beyond the standard grey. Unlike traditional products, decorative concrete is sold mostly on aesthetic appeal, breadth of choice and desire.
The new name was required to be legally available worldwide, to be fresh and inspire confidence in the product and to provide a good fit with the existing brand name Agilia.
Artevia was derived from 'art' and 'via' to suggest a clear path to artistic results. This name was selected due to its ease of pronunciation, positive and relevant associations and fit with Agilia.
